Museum Fashion

German designer Alexander Brenninkmeijer has taken a different approach to showing his couture clothing line. He's snubbing the runway and retail locations and instead showcasing his pieces for men and women in various museums. So far he's only debuted in Germany but starting tomorrow through April 1, he can be seen in NYC at the Goethe-Institut. Brenninkmeijer's designs under the label name Clemens en August. His collection is classic and beautiful with some quirkiness mixed in. There's a Euro-trendy vibe to it.

Clemens en August carries the gray, white and teal color theme throughout both the men's and women's collection, adding cohesiveness. Even though the collection is very European, it's cutting edge here. Hopefully these beautiful looks could translate into the market here in America.
