Nicholai by Nicky Hilton

When I first heard that Nicky Hilton would be adding herself to the list of celebrities turned designers, I was a bit skeptical that anything special would come out of her designs. 

She started her first season under the label name "Chick", which I thought was pretty unoriginal. However, it seems that she's learned from the past and is stepping it up for fall 2008. Under the new name for her label "Nicholai", Hilton has proved that being an heiress and a sister to Paris Hilton doesn't necessarily mean she's devoid of talent.  Hilton's fall 2008 show which hit the L.A. runway has been getting positive reviews for its original theme: equestrian meets S&M/bondage. Think riding cap and prep mixed with some patent leather, latex leggings, buckles, and a whip here and there.
