Recycled Runway Collection

Environmentalist turned Fashion designer Nancy Judd take the used and abused and turns it into dazzling, beautiful designs. Recycled Runway is a program Judd created 10 years ago while working as a recycling coordinator in Sante Fe, NM. imagine wearing crushed glass and coke cans to your next formal event in the form of an elegant evening gown. Creating new and innovative way for reusing recycled material is one way to help the environment in a new fresh way.

These are both Ms. Judd's creations made entirely out of recycled materials that were reclaimed and reused. She takes commissions from companies and private parties to create these designs, as the one above was commissioned by Target.

Eco-spun was used to create this fashionable pink gown, which is a fabric spun from recycled plastic bottles spun into a thread. Creativity meets the Eco-friendly will we be seeing this recycling trend move its was into high fashion?
