Summer Boots

Kristen Lee is a designer from NYC. She creates sometimes simple and often eclectic shoes. Recently, she created summer boots. Simply put they are boots you can wear in the summer. I would prefer to call them late spring boots because I think they might be too much to wear during the hot summer months. Like the black ones below.

She incorporates fabrics like suede and patent leathers that are just not the right fit for a summer shoe. They might be more wearable in the pre-summer months. The peep-toe boot is a really cute and interesting idea though. It is definately a fashion statement and there is nothing else out there like it. So purely from a fashion standpoint its expressive. But they also look comfortable on a cooler night.
