Battle of "The Hills" Designers

If you've ever watched the MTV reality series "The Hills", you know that it's always filled with drama and plenty of competition. The show follows Lauren Conrad around L.A. as she studies in fashion school and interns on the side as a fashion assistant for Teen Vogue magazine. Being the fashionista that she is, "LC" recently debuted her own fashion line last fall called Lauren Conrad Collection. However, her rival "frenemy" on the show, Heidi Montag, recently followed suit with her own fashion line called Heidiwood, which prompted talk about the star copying and trying to outdo her costar. Since then, US Weekly magazine printed an exclusive article in which Montag bashes Conrad's collection. Now, a third member on the show, Whitney Port, tries her hand in the designing world with her debut collection Eve & A. Though she may get flak for her unoriginal idea, some critics think that Port's clothing line may be the most promising of the three. While Port's designs aren't yet available for the public to see, I haven't been very impressed by Conrad or Montag's collections so far. In my opinion, both seem pretty safe- nothing new from what we've seen already from the loads of celebrity designers out there today. Check out a couple examples from the Lauren Conrad Collection and Heidiwood collection below and judge for yourself:
