H&M has teamed up with Ninette Murk, founder of Designers Against AIDS (DAA) in order to make sure that the young people of today understand the risk of infection does apply to everyone. Ninette enlisted artists and designers to create artwork for tank tops, t-shirts, hoodies and so on. They called this combined strength Fashion Against AIDS.
All the artists designed at least one piece and then H&M produced the collection. It was all made out of 100% organic cotton and 25% of the sales proceeds are donated through DAA and YouthAIDS, in order to raise awareness.
