Gimme a break

In an utter fit of originality, Glamour magazine bounced Australian pop star Kylie Minogue from her post as the best dressed woman alive and replaced her with--Kate Moss.  YAWN!  Following coke head Kate in the oh-sooooo-surprising line-up was Sienna Miller, Scarlett Johansson, Rachel Bilson, and Jennifer Aniston.

Oh God.  I'm falling asleep.  This cookie cutter celeb it girl parade might have me snoring is going to have me snoring in my keyboard.

Give me a break.  Kate Moss has food issues, a drug problem and can't even put her eyeliner on straight--to say nothing of her penchant for wearing ratty cut offs with ginormous feather coats.  NOT hip--weird rather.  Scarlett Johansson thinks she's twice as cool and talented as she really actually is--not to mention she has recently made habit of appearing at her movie premieres dressed like a pastry.  Rachel Bilson is Darth Vader's girlfriend so need I more.  And Jennifer Aniston is yesterday's snooze.

Sienna Miller wears neat stuff--I'll admit.

What is special about these women?  I mean, all right that's harsh--I went to Sunday school I know we're all special or whatever.  But STYLEWISE what is special about them?  They are models and actresses--they pay people to help them get dressed.  Their clothing is much more an expression of their money and their celebrity status--not their real selves.

So if you are lucky enough to get your hands on a January issue of Vogue, check out their best dressed women list.  It includes only one actress (true fashion standout Kate Bosworth) and the refreshing likes of designer and professional athlete Venus Williams AND Hillary Clinton's right-hand-girl Huma Abedin.
