Tie-dye? Really???

That design that originated in the 1960s, followed me through the late 1980s and came around again on slackers in teen movies is making its way back into the fashion market.  While I've only seen a select few pieces of tie-dye items in stores lately, I have a feeling that we may be seeing more.  After all, fashion always recycles itself.
Gregory Parkinson is a designer that is promoting his new line of tie-dye fashion.  He has dressed stars like Brooke Shields and has sold his creations to Kirna Zabete boutique in New York, Forty Five Ten in Dallas and Barneys New York
While there are $5 kits that can make these childlike, colorful creations, his fashions sell for anywhere from $400 upwards to a couple thousand.

Call me crazy, but I hope this is just a passing trend.  I just couldn't imagine spending that much money on something that, in my opinion, isn't very attractive
