Rag Report dives under the covers of fashion publications to rant or rave about all the glossy goodness.
In the April issue of Numéro, model Anna Maria Jagodinska flaunts her stuff in a 7-page spread shot by Greg Kadel. Jagodinska effortlessly embraces the femininity of pink while giving an edgy twist to each photo.
In the first photo, Jagodinska is showered in pink. From the accessories to the dress, each item is a different shade of the color. Jagodinska looks directly at the camera, which adds intensity to the shot. We love how the effects of the photo make her seem almost ghostly. Even with the physical amount of items on the model, the styling doesn’t overwhelm us and we can focus on her blue eyes.
While the second photo isn’t as strong as the first, Jagodinska shows off the clothing beautifully. Even though her face isn’t toward the camera, her body position shows off the amazing heels perfectly.
The last photo features Jagodinska looking more vulnerable and sensual than the previous two. Her expression is softer and more relaxed. The photo’s effects help convey a lighter side to this otherwise edgy photo spread. Again, the clothing and accessories Jagodinska wears don’t overpower her. We are immediately drawn to her eyes.
Overall, the photo shoot is amazing. Even with pink as a central theme, the spread didn’t get too girly and Jagodinska dominated the spread with her versatile poses and piercing stare.
