Let's NOT Look Like Panda Poop

A revolutionary fabric that has just started to become more popular is bamboo! It's very soft, quick to grow and produce, and uses only organic chemicals in the yarn production process from the bamboo fibers.
Here is some helpful information for understanding the content and great aspects of bamboo fabrics, courtesy of Bamboosa:
"Some facts to consider about the ‘greenness’ of bamboo would be:

~Bamboo is grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers
~Bamboo requires no irrigation
~Bamboo rarely needs replanting
~Bamboo grows rapidly and can be harvested in 3-5 years
~Bamboo produces 35% more oxygen that an equivalent stand of trees
~Bamboo is a critical element in the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere
~Bamboo is an excellent soil erosion inhibitor

Additionally, bamboo fiber fabric is antimicrobial, thermal regulating, wicks moisture better than polyester performance fabrics, will not hold odor, is resistant to mold and mildew, and is absorbent and fast drying keeping."
Unfortunately, I have found that there are not a lot of fashionable apparel pieces available to the public, especially in undergarments. They seem to run too large or not form fitting. This may be due to a lack of knowledge in handling the fabric or poor styling.

These panties can be found at American Apparel, but after reading the reviews, I don't think that I would want to have saggy bottom undies.
This second pair of underwear is featured at Shirts of Bamboo and did not appear too thrilling either.

Despite the bamboo underwear disappointments so far, some of the tops look pretty dang cute. Check out these tanks at Spun Bamboo and you won't be as saddened.

If you're looking for some organic cotton basic tees, check out American Apparel. Both bamboo and organic cotton are treated the same way in the manufacturing process and are just as great to live in.

Speaking of revolutionary fabrics, check out this cute messenger bag:

It's made from plastic bottles.
