st starting to really get into makeup, so when I heard about MAC Cosmetic's new line for Heatherette I was immediately intrigued because I like this label's creative use of color and femininity. I kind of assumed that it would be almost a continuation of the Fafi line that they released just a few months ago. Fafi was very vibrant because it had lots of bright candy colors to represent the graffiti artist that helped to design the line. And Heatherette has the seems to have the same brightly colored palette, only it has what has been described as a "party girl" edge to it...such as things like sparkly eyeliner. YouTube is full of makeup artists and makeup enthusiasts who have been posting videos about their opinions on the new line and the colors that work for them. One my favorites, scandalousbeauty, gives her run down of the colors from the line that seem to work well for women of color.

From what I have seen of the line, it's definitely what I would expect from Heatherette. Even the packaging is a bright, ultra feminine hot pink with lots of glitter and holograms. Heatherette is usually all things frilly, bright, and over-the-top.
