bella Lucina

Okay, sorry another jewelry post....

This one came to me thanks to my Daily Bite email subscription, and it is so beautiful!
The Jewelry company Lucina was founded a few years ago by a mom who wanted to start a business that would make a positive impact on the lives of women worldwide.
All Lucina jewelry is made of Fair Trade gemstones and natural materials sourced in developing nations, and handcrafted by artisans in these countries, all of whom are paid fair wages and able to support their families.
The company partners with different artisan initiatives in Bali, Ecuador, Brazil and Columbia that employ local craftspeople to create their unique jewelry. These initiatives fund community, environmental and family support programs for their workers. Lucina also donates a portion of its proceeds to other international charities, all in the name of helping women and families in poor, war torn or struggling countries obtain childcare, adequate housing, food, healthcare and education.
Not to mention the stuff is really neat, especially because it uses raw gemstones and earthy crunchy stuff like choclo seeds...
