Trembled Blossoms and Spanish Tales

The movie, Trembled Blossoms, advertising for Prada and illustrated by James Jean was quite reminiscent of the 2006 film, Pan's Labyrinth. Both use the idea of a young girl trying to find her way through an unfamiliar land. The ideas of rebirth and discovery are beautifully painted in both films and are concluded with a goat monster creature.

The mystical fairy tale approach to advertising is effective and successful in Prada's case. It is eye-catching, memorable, and illuminating for the audience. Bravo, Prada for telling us a story through your clothing and congratulations to Pan's Labyrinth for taking us to a sweeter and higher place!
