Fierce+Foreign: A ball of love...and fur

Fierce+Foreign draws on the fashion experiences of SU's students in our favorite abroad capitals.

Natalia Vodianova in lovely Louis Vuitton

The Love Ball London brought fashion’s hottest stars to the Roundhouse in Camden for a good cause on Tuesday night. Kate Moss, Elizabeth Hurley, Stella McCartney and Jade Jagger among others attended the benefit hosted by Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova along with DeBeers, Harper's Bazaar and London Fashion Week.

The ball raised £1.2 million for Vodianova’s Naked Heart Foundation, which will fund the building of children’s play parks in deprived parts of London, Liverpool and Glasgow.

The belle of the ball was, of course, the hostess herself. Natalia Vodianova stood out in a scarlet mini puffball (UK lingo for bubble) dress and a pink and white diamond necklace she designed for De Beers. The necklace sold for £180,000 at the ball’s auction!

Rosie Huntington Whiteley forever in fur

Rosie Huntington Whiteley flaunted her love for fur yet again in an oversized vest on top of a sparkly silver shift that showed off her long legs.

Liz Hurley’s see-through sari

Elizabeth Hurley, on the other hand, showed a little too much love in a sheer blue sari sans bra. We’re not so sure if this was an accident given her risqué style, but Liz spent the rest of the night trying to cover up her chest.
